Miguel Milá

Miguel Milá (Barcelona, ​​1931) is a Catalan industrial and interior designer. It is one of the few designers from the first generation that is not an architect. However, he began his career working in the office of the architects Alfonso Milá i Sagnier and Federico Correa. Founder of Tramo along with Ribas Barangé and Pérez Ullibarri, where he will design some of the most recognized lamps, including TMC and the TMM.

Later mounted his own design studio, where he worked on numerous projects. Co-founder of ADI FAD, along with André Ricard, Antoni de Moragas , Oriol Bohigas, Cases, Pellicer and Rafael Marquina. He was an active member.

Considered a pre-industrial designer, his views of design are closer to the figure of the craftsman, taking care of the work, controlling the different processes and correcting errors working models and prototypes.
