Gae Aulenti

Gaetana Aulenti (Palazzolo dello Stella, Udine, 1927 - Milan, October 31, 2012) was an Italian architect and designer. She graduated in 1953 at the Polytechnic of Milan and from 1956 worked in Milan, where she devoted herself to the architectural, industrial and interior design, as well as stage design. In the early 80s she was artistic director of FontanaArte, the company for which she designed imperishable lamps and decorative objects that are still present in the catalog.
